I'm not just a stay-home-mom. I'm a maid, chef, dishwasher, dog trainer, toddler teacher, graphic designer, website manager, blogger, financial planner, personal shopper, independent contractor, business owner, entrepreneur and a wife! Cheers to all you other stay-home-mommas out there!!! Our jobs are tough and don't last only 8 hours a day. Aside from being busy about 18-20 hours out of the day....I wouldn't trade my life for the world! I am incredibly blessed to be able to stay home with my son. It has been an amazing 2 years so far and has taught me sooo much. We have bonded in such a special way and all too soon he will be in school and then I will be "back to work" full time. Mondays my son is in daycare all day, so that is awesome! He gets social interaction and I'm able to work, have meetings or run errands as needed. Then 2 days a week my husband works from home, so he is able to lend a helping hand occasionally if something comes up or I need to take a phone call or run downstairs/outside quick. My husband is a huge support. He works so incredibly hard to be able to provide for us so I can have the opportunity to do what I do!!! He's a hard worker, loving husband and an amazing father. While I am with my son during the day, he steps in and takes over in the evening so I can then do my own work. Which usually involves hiding away in the back bedroom/office if I'm working on my drafting jobs or secluding myself to the basement studio if I'm working on photography.
My son is so stinkin cute too....he knows I'm around, he just doesn't know where I am in the house. So I'll often hear "MOMMA? MOMMA?! " And then hubby steps in to distract him for a little while. Then if I'm still hiding out when bedtime comes around, I can hear him coming down the stairs. He seeing my studio light on and comes running down the hall, pauses when he sees me, gets a huge smile on his face while saying "MOMMA!" and then comes over to give me big bedtime hugs and kisses!!!! xoxoxo Tell me that doesn't make a bad day or tired eyes just go away?!
