I apologize in advance to all my readers! I've been crazy busy lately and haven't blogged in a while. I hope this post makes up for the past month of being MIA. This week I want to challenge my readers. I feel that I am challenged every day with something new and it becomes a learning and growing experience. And I want everyone that I know and care about to be continually learning & growing as well.
This week I was challenged by having a job interview...first major one in over 8 years! YES, I'm finally looking to go back to work full time now that my little guy is getting older and will benefit more from a daycare/preschool environment. He loves the social interaction with other kids of all ages and let's face it, I'm sure he's getting bored with just hangin with mom all day long! haha
Of course I had to throw in some cute photos of him on this blog...what would a momtog blogger be without showing off her adorable child whenever she can?!
Read on to find out how the interview went and what my challenge is for you!
I recently read another person's blog and I absolutely love one of her statements:
Resist the Urge to Pick up Your Camera First.
In this modern age we all want to take a photo, show it off to the world, snap a selfie and then just move on to the next exciting thing. Why do we do this?! Social media has created monsters out of all of us, and yes I will be the first to admit that I am a photoaholic and document EVERYTHING that happens in my, my family and my son's life!!!! I want those memories preserved so we can look back on them and relive those awesome (or sometimes not-so-awesome) moments and memories! And we all want to share those moments with the world, because - seriously - what is life without Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and messaging?!?! 😆 j/k
Aside from being a part-time photographer, I am also a wife, mother, business woman, veteran, crafter, gardener, camper, hunter, fisher, avid walker, cyclist, and thrifter!
